“Mr. President, please…” is the place and space of the people of South Africa. It is the place and space where you, as South African or South African well-whisher, can voice your opinion. Here you can congratulate the government of the day, or criticise the government of the day. However, the success of a nation is not only in the hands of the government. It is in the hands of each and every individual, and each and every institution. Government institutions, NGOs, commerce and industry, professions, educational institutions, … “Mr. President, please” is a channel to address issues that need to be addressed. Issues that need change.
This initiative will:
- Provide a channel for the stimulation and collection of ideas;
- Present these ideas to the President of South Africa on a quarterly basis;
- Scan the Net for ideas turned into benefits in other parts of the world to further stimulate local thoughts and ideas.
We invite every South African and any person with a stake in South Africa to join us on this exciting journey.
This is also a place where selected panelists will discuss issues related to a better South Africa.
But most important, it is the place and space where every and any individual’s voice can be heard. Your ideas and suggestions collectively is what will determine the course that South Africa will be steered into.
